altek GmbH acquired by the Italian company Bertolini
Effective 1st of January 2020, altek GmbH will be acquired by the Italian pump producer Bertolini Pumps, located in Reggio Emilia, Italy. The acquisition of altek GmbH by Bertolini brings together two market leading pump and sprayer component manufacturers. The two companies will in future be working together in both product development, sales distribution and product support worldwide.

Founded in 1918 in Reggio Emilia, Italy, Bertolini Pumps has their roots in developing and producing high quality pumps and components used in the production of agricultural sprayers. I In addition Bertolini produces a wide range of high-pressure pumps used in the production on mist blowers and general industry.
Mr Thomas Schwert will continue in his position of managing director of altek GmbH. He will be supported by Mr. Ugo Bertolini and Mr. Luigi Quaretti.
All employees of altek Gmbh will be retained following the acquisition by Bertolini ensuring smooth and continuous production during the transition. This is especially important to our valued altek customers who can be assured that everything from the caring personnel, production processes and the altek Quality Management will be unaffected.
The acquisition by Bertolini Pumps will strengthen the altek company. The combined knowledge and skills of both companies working together will ensure new products can be developed quickly in response to the everchanging requirements of the industry and will ensure both companies remain as market leaders.
Altek International Limited the UK Sales division of altek GmbH will continue to offer Sales and Product support for altek, Lechler, Greentronics, Machinery Guide, John Guest.
